About Us

The Watson Society is a Non-Profit organization, established in 2013 by a group of professionals from the Corporate Communications sector that intends to promote a new way of thinking about enterprises, shifting away from the usual rules and looking toward new horizons.

As articulated in the Charter, the objectives of the Association are of an operational, diplomatic and philanthropic nature and the Society can count on a growing number of partners and stakeholders, both Italian and foreign.

The Watson Society is an independent, non-partisan and non-profit organization that receives no government funding.

CORE VALUES AND PRINCIPLES

Among the sources of inspiration for its work, The Watson Society recognizes the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union and principles of Global Compact, the United Nations program dedicated to Corporate Social Responsibility.

The president in charge of the Association is Carmelo Cutuli, an international public relations expert; the Vice President is Mario Rapisarda, a company director; the Secretary is Salvo Bonanno, an international marketing expert.

The Registered Office of the Association is located in Rome, at the legal firm Studio Legale DNMB Via Cosseria 2.

PRO-BONO

The “pro bono” services are provided by the partners, usually industry professionals, for the benefit of other partners in full respect of their professional values, and those of the membership.

In particular the association supports its members in their initiatives, strictly of a non-commercial character, with a particular focus on:

  • Support in Advocacy and Public Diplomacy campaigns;
  • Development of Corporate Social Responsibility projects and strategies;
  • Creation and launch of new associations;
  • Identification of international partners.
  • Organization and management of conferences and cultural events;

In addition, the Association makes its Press Office available to Members and Partners in order to communicate about events of particular interest, thus contributing to national and, if necessary, international visibility.
